This one could sound strange but believe me, it tastes fantastic.The original Hungarian recipe is called Káposztástészta and it is really easy to make.

Cook time: 45 min
Ingredients:
1 kg cabbage
400 g Gluten free Pasta
1 tablespoon Sugar
Salt
Pepper
Butter
Olive oil
Step by step instructions:
1. Grind the cabbage, add salt let it sit for 10 minutes.
2. Push out excess water from cabbage with your hands.
3. Caramelise the sugar in a bigger pot.
4. Add butter and oil and cabbage.
5. Fry the cabbage on medium heat until it turns brown (this takes approx 40 minutes) add extra oil if needed and stir, the cabbage can burn very easily.
6. Cook pasta.
7. Add pasta to cabbage and fry on high heat for 5 mins to get it’s golden brown.
Serve with freshly ground pepper.
This one can be enjoyed savoury or sweet. A lot people love it a dash of sugar.
